Simeone praises Felix
Technical director Edu, along with coach Mikel Arteta, have identified a number of goals that they believe will improve the Gunners squad. According to Football.london, the club are targeting players in key positions, including bringing in two strikers, a central midfielder, plus a rotation for Tomiyasu.

Felix is in the sights of Arsenal’s board of directors.
First, there were rumors that Arsenal wanted the signature of Marcus Rashford. The Manchester United striker is furiously demanding to leave Old Trafford after being banished to the bench. West Ham, Newcastle United and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with the 24-year-old, who has a year left on his contract this summer.
The Red Devils have the option of extending Rashford’s contract for another year, but perhaps the two sides will part ways in the near future. Arsenal’s problem in this deal is the not-so-cheap transfer fee of Rashford.
However, there is another name that is on the Gunners’ sights. Such was the case with Joao Felix. This player has not played too prominently since the beginning of the season. The Altetico Madrid side wants to quickly “cut losses” after spending 120 million pounds to buy him from Benfica.
Felix’s strong point is the ability to turn in a narrow range. If Arsenal switch to a two-forward form from next season, Felix is the best name they can think of on the market.
Of course, Mikel Arteta is also interested in strengthening the midfield. Renato Sanches and Fabian Ruiz are the Gunners’ top two targets in the coming months.
Sanches has previously discussed his own transfer speculations and revealed Arsenal’s interest in him.

Sanches acknowledged interest from the Gunners.
“Maybe Milan and Arsenal are interested but I don’t know,” he said.
“I’ve talked to my agent, I know which club is calling me but I can’t say right now. But I know I’m ready. If there’s an offer, I’ll find out what. best for me,” said Sanches.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have had a private contact with Ruiz’s representatives and it is expected that the Spaniard will evaluate his options at the end of the season. Reportedly, Ruiz has scored six goals and provided three assists in 22 Serie A appearances for Napoli this season and is Arteta’s ideal type of player.
