Gio van Bronckhorst thinks shaking Ibrox could help Rangers reach the Europa League final.

The Light Blues had to give up to lead RB Leipzig 1-0 when Angelino scored a late winner for the Bundesliga side after a brave display at the Red Bull Arena.

But Dutch boss think they can turn things around next week – especially when Aaron Ramsey and Kemar Roofe may return.

He told BT Sport: “We can get through the 0-1 defeat away and I’m sure Ibrox will give us energy.

“It was disappointing to lose so late in the game but it was a 0-1 loss and we know what we have to do next week.

“The players have played really well and we are playing at home and Ibrox will give us the energy to give everything.

“We played really well, were well organized and didn’t give a lot of chances. Of course, with their quality you always know they will create some chances – especially in compact areas they have players who can play very quickly.

“Allan McGregor made some really good saves but in the first half they were sure they couldn’t make a goal.

“But we weren’t as confident on the ball as we were in the second half when we created dangerous plays.

“They have top quality and with the amount of substitutes they make but we had a good performance overall and next week we have to win, so we have to attack them at the right time. points with more bodies.”
