The race to win the Premier League this season is a duet between the two clubs Man City and Liverpool. The blue half of Manchester is running towards the finish line, creating a 9-point gap with The Kop. According to Arsenal legend Ian Wright, Liverpool is fully capable of usurping Man City this season.

“I believe Liverpool can do it . I guess Liverpool also have ambitions to win the Champions League this season, ” Ian Wright told The Kelly & Wrighty Show.

The 2-0 victory over Inter Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League shows the strength of Liverpool this season. The ideal squad depth allows Jurgen Klopp to easily select and arrange personnel in different playing fields.

Liverpool are chasing Man City on the table.

Besides, Liverpool also has a change in the style of play. The Anfield team does not focus too much on the fiery attacking pressing style. The Kop proved pragmatic and adapted to each match and each opponent.

There are a lot of problems to fix, to fix. If we want to win titles, win titles; we need to win games,” Klopp said.

Liverpool’s next two rivals in the Premier League are Norwich City and Leeds United. Klopp’s teachers and students will have a great battle with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on February 27.
