Accepting boldness, Liverpool signed a ‘top’ striker more than Messi and Mbappe combined?

Coach Jurgen Klopp’s army is at a big disadvantage when their two main strikers, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, will have to return to play AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) with the national team this January.

This is not a small loss when The Kop is losing ground in the championship race and needs key personnel more than ever.
That is why the BLD Liverpool is very drastic in recruiting more attacking players to fill the position of the two stars mentioned above in the near future.

Accordingly, L’Equipe reported, Liverpool are in contact with Lille to discuss the terms of the transfer of young striker Jonathan David.

Liverpool and MU have been interested in Jonathan David since the summer of 2020. However, the Canadian player landed in Lille after the two Premier League giants failed to reach an agreement on costs with Gent.

Jurgen Klopp highly appreciates Jonathan David’s ability, both for his ability to participate in tactics and to operate independently in attack. Therefore, the German military leader urged Liverpool officials to speed up negotiations to have a 21-year-old Canadian striker (with US citizenship).
